About The Position

Southwest Dispatch Center, a local Texas leader in 3rd party alarm monitoring is looking for individuals with a pleasant phone voice to join our team in our 24/7 monitoring department. Our employees are the foundation on which the success of our monitoring services continues to grow. Working in a call center environment, alarm dispatchers are responsible for making outgoing calls pertaining to a customer’s monitored alarm system. You'll be the friendly voice calling to ensure everyone is ok when alarms are activated, such as a Fire, Burglary, or Medical.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Clean Criminal Background – No Felonies

Responsibilities

  • The ability to speak clearly when making outgoing calls to verify alarms and dispatch authorities.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced, challenging team environment while working in a high-volume call center.
  • A caring, can-do attitude; always conveying professionalism and a passion for helping people.
  • The ability to work holidays, weekends, and mandatory overtime - we're 24 x 7!
  • Working knowledge of Windows-based systems and the ability to type at least 20 WPM.
  • Dependable and punctual.
