About The Position

We provide high quality traffic control safety services to construction job sites, such as Flagging traffic through a work site, setting up and monitoring Lane Closures to divert traffic, or Detouring traffic to reduce traffic congestion and prevent accidents. Requirements

  • Prior dispatch experience in the traffic control industry or similar field required.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software (MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint, telematics platforms, Microsoft 365 tools, Salesforce).
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Positive, solutions-oriented attitude, especially under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work both independently and within a team setting.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Typing speed of 40–50 WPM minimum preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying schedules as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive, record, and enter all customer job requests into the scheduling system.
  • Provide support with scheduling and dispatch operations.
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls.
  • Take and process job orders.
  • Monitor and review incoming emails.
  • Enter job orders into the scheduling system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reconcile scheduled job orders to ensure data integrity within the system.
  • Submit internal inventory requests as needed.
  • Maintain electronic filing systems.
  • Coordinate hotel accommodations for field crews when required.
  • Review job locations to determine Traffic Control requirements.
  • Review and interpret traffic control plans.
  • Assist with scheduling, routing, and dispatching as needed.
  • Collaborate with all departments and locations to ensure accurate scheduling and job support.
  • Create purchase orders as needed.
  • Coordinate equipment deliveries and rentals as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
