About The Position

Fenix Parts is seeking an Automotive Dismantler to remove and evaluate vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain parts. The role supports the company’s automotive recycling and resale operations by helping ensure parts are safely extracted, properly assessed, and ready for customers and partners. The position works a stable Monday-to-Friday day shift. Fenix Parts describes itself as an automotive recycling company with more than 25 years in the industry and a network of more than 30 U.S. locations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience, including removal of engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid understanding of automotive parts and their functions.
• Own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, differentials, driveshafts, axles, and other drivetrain components.
• Tag and label parts accurately and ensure components meet quality standards.
• Test engines and electrical components.
• Drain and store fluids properly.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Complete necessary documentation.
