About The Position

The Dishwasher helps ensure dishes are properly cleaned for food service. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, front-of-house service areas, dining areas, and bathrooms. The work takes place in a kitchen environment with noise levels that are usually moderate to high. The employee regularly uses their hands to handle or feel items, reaches with their hands and arms, and talks or hears; standing and walking are frequent. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but are not required.

Responsibilities

• Fill sinks with appropriate cleaning solutions and change the solutions as needed.
• Clean and organize dirty pans, plates, containers, and similar items.
• Check trash cans regularly and take out the trash.
• Run dirty dishes, plates, and utensils through the dishwasher.
• Return clean plates to the front service area and place them on the proper shelves.
• Keep a broom and clean mop ready for accidents or spills in the front and back of house.
• Clean counters, bus bins, glass tops, display cases, and dining areas.
• Break down cardboard boxes.
• Check, clean, and restock bathrooms.
• Pull up floor mats, sweep the area, and mop the front and back of house.
