About The Position

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Dishwashers to join the team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The Dishwasher helps maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitizes food and beverage serving tools to support excellent standards and a positive guest experience. Delaware North operates concessions, clubs, and suites for the NHL's Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center, including a members-only fine dining restaurant, at the 19,200-seat arena. The Dishwasher works in a collaborative kitchen environment and may use hands or a dishwasher to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and other kitchen items.

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow directions.
Capacity to work cooperatively with others.
Ability to carry up to 60 lbs and place items above and below head height.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift, and occasionally push and pull equipment, mops, and brooms.
Ability to work in variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

Clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, flatware, and kitchen items by hand or using a dishwasher.
Ensure sanitizer levels on dish machines and pot sinks meet specified health standards.
Store clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Clean the work area, including equipment, floors, walls, and cooking area, and keep kitchenware storage organized.
Remove trash from the dish room and transport it to the dumpster; clean and sanitize garbage cans.
