About The Position

The Culinary Dishwasher at State Farm Arena, a Levy Restaurants establishment, is responsible for maintaining dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition. This role ensures that all items are cleaned and sanitized according to established procedures and safety standards.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of food service experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
• Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Understanding of basic sanitation and safety standards.
• Willingness to take direction and assist with kitchen cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to a dishwashing machine, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using the appropriate equipment and procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers, and steams cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
