About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for operating the dishwasher, washing and storing dining wares, cooking utensils, and grills. This role also involves managing waste, including recycling, garbage, and fryer oil, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work areas, chemical storage, and equipment. Additionally, the Dishwasher will assist with bussing tables and supporting various events and functions.
Requirements
- Proper operation of dishwasher

- Washing and storing dining wares, cooking utensils, and grills
- Removal of recycling plastics and aluminum
- Removal of garbage and packaging cardboard
- Disposal of fryer oil
- Maintenance of sanitation and cleanliness of work areas
- Maintenance of cleanliness and organization of chemical area
- Sweeping and mopping floors in kitchen, dish room, cooler, and freezer areas
- Washing floor mats
- Performing equipment maintenance and reporting problems
- Maintaining organization of storage containers, pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, plates, and lids
- Adherence to established dress code and departmental procedures
- Ability to bus tables when requested
- Ability to assist with convention center activities and other functions
Responsibilities
- Operate dishwasher properly, paying special attention to the use of soaps and chemicals.
- Wash and store all dining wares, cooking utensils, and grills.
- Remove all recycling plastics and aluminum.
- Remove all garbage and packaging cardboard as needed.
- Dispose of fryer oil to proper recycling bins.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the chemical area.
- Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen, dish room, cooler, and freezer areas.
- Wash all floor mats at the end of each shift.
- Perform proper maintenance of all equipment and report any problems to management.
- Maintain organization of all storage containers, pots, pans, utensils, dinnerware, plates, and lids.
- Follow established dress code and departmental procedures.
- Bus tables in the Restaurant when requested.
- Assist with convention center activities and other functions as assigned.
