About The Position
The Dishwasher is responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and other items, and maintaining clean restaurant and kitchen areas. The role requires reliable attendance, punctuality, and awareness of restaurant operations. Employees must maintain a safe work environment, follow safety procedures, use safety equipment, identify unsafe practices or conditions, and notify a supervisor of concerns. The position also involves developing positive relationships with guests and employees and alerting a supervisor to concerns about food and beverage quality, selection, or variety. No previous experience is required. Prior dishwashing knowledge or experience in a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment is desirable. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines or work under pressure, solve problems, and organize and prioritize work is required. Compensation is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality during scheduled work hours.
- Wash and sanitize dirty dishes, utensils, and other items as needed.
- Empty trash, sweep and mop floors, and wipe down work stations to keep the kitchen clean.
- Clean tables and other restaurant areas as requested or required.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance positive relations with guests and employees.
- Alert a supervisor to concerns regarding the quality, selection, and variety of food and beverages.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment; follow safety procedures and use safety equipment.
- Identify unsafe practices or conditions and inform a supervisor.
- Remain alert while performing responsibilities and maintain awareness of restaurant operations.
- Keep a supervisor informed of concerns.
