About The Position

The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment. This role involves operating dishwashing machines, ensuring proper cleaning procedures are followed, and maintaining the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas. The Dishwasher will also assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks, waste disposal, and supporting the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning procedures.
• Sort, stack, and store clean dishes and kitchen items in designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, floors, sinks, and waste areas.
• Remove trash and recycling and dispose of waste properly.
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks and closing duties.
• Refill cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when inventory is low.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Support kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
