About The Position

Savoy Pizzeria in West Hartford, Connecticut, is seeking a hardworking and dependable Dishwasher to support its back-of-house team. The role supports a professional, fast-paced kitchen and helps maintain clean, organized, and efficient operations during service. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to assist the kitchen team wherever needed. Previous restaurant dishwasher experience is preferred but not required. The position offers $16.94–$18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils, ensuring they are clean and sanitized.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and overall kitchen.
Restock clean kitchenware and service ware in their proper locations.
Assist with kitchen cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal.
Support the culinary team with basic preparation tasks when needed.
Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with company and local guidelines.
Communicate with kitchen staff to support smooth and efficient operations during service.
