About The Position

The Solid Rock Cafe at Cornerstone Church is seeking a dependable Part-Time Dishwasher to support our kitchen team. While guests may never see the work you do, your contribution plays a vital role in creating an excellent dining experience and supporting the ministry through hospitality. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and understands that every role contributes to building people and serving others well.

Requirements

Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing assigned tasks
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
Positive attitude and willingness to serve as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and more with assistance

Nice To Haves

Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
Properly organize and store clean items in designated areas
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dishwashing area
Assist with kitchen cleaning duties, including floors, equipment, and work areas
Remove trash and recycling and maintain sanitation standards
Restock dishwashing and cleaning supplies as needed
Support the kitchen team with additional cleaning and operational needs
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
Assist with special events and ministry functions as assigned
