About The Position

Best Western Plus Valemount is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Part-Time Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. This role is essential to keeping our food service operations running smoothly and maintaining the high standards our guests expect.

Requirements

Must be available to work June through September 2026
Must be flexible for all shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hotel hygiene and safety standards.
Load and unload dishwashing machines; maintain machines in clean working order and report any issues promptly.
Keep the dish pit, sinks, floors, and surrounding areas clean, dry, and organized at all times.
Sort, stack, and store clean items so they are readily available for the kitchen and service teams.
Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks (floors, surfaces, garbage removal) as needed to support overall operations.
Communicate clearly and respectfully with chefs, servers, and colleagues about priorities, equipment needs, and any delays or issues.
Work cooperatively as part of the kitchen team, helping others when required and maintaining a positive, professional attitude even during busy service periods.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures and wear required protective equipment.
Support the team by remaining flexible with tasks and shifts to ensure smooth service for hotel guests.
