About The Position
The Embassy Suites by Hilton, located near the Charlotte airport, is currently hiring for full-time Dishwashers. The persons hired for these positions will need flexibility to work any shift; weekday and weekend availability is required. The primary purpose of this role is to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods.
Requirements
- Must possess professional attitude and behavior
- Must comply with uniform and appearance standards
- Fluency in the English language and the ability to speak, hear, read and write are required
- Ability to work any hours/days of the week necessary to meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
- Sort and stack clean dishes.
- Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas
- Rewash soiled dishes before delivering
- Change dishwasher in dish machine every hour
- Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
- Break down all cardboard boxes and take to recycle bin
- Set up or break down dishwashing area
- Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean dish machine daily.
- Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards or refrigerators
