About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dish area, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and silverware are properly washed and stored. The position also involves taking out trash, cleaning the dish machine, sweeping and mopping, and adhering to all company policies and procedures. The work environment can be stressful with bright lights and loud noise.
Requirements
- Must be able to use proper PPE (personal protective equipment) when handling chemicals.
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
- Wash all dishes, glassware, and silverware, making sure they are clean, dry and spot free.
- Keep dish area, machine, and racks clean and organized.
- Stock all clean dishes in storage locations.
- Take trash out of garbage cans and transport to the dumpster. Replacing all can liners.
- Drain dish machine and disassemble parts for cleaning.
- Sweep and mop every shift or as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Keeping chemicals full and replacing them when needed using the proper PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Ensures department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of all promotions and events.
- All other duties as assigned.
