About The Position

The Dishwasher position supports the smooth operation of the Prepared Foods department by maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. The role involves cleaning kitchen equipment and food storage containers, operating a dishwashing machine, organizing dish storage, monitoring cleaning supplies, reporting repair needs, and assisting kitchen staff as needed. The employee is expected to maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and follow Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy.

Responsibilities

• Clean kitchen equipment, food storage containers, plates, and utensils using appropriate materials.
• Operate a dishwashing machine.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Look for and report repair needs.
• Clean and organize dish storage as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.
• Assist kitchen staff as needed.
• Abide by Westborn Market’s time and attendance policy.
