About The Position
We are looking for Dishwashers to clean and stock our kitchens at the Oasis at Death Valley. This role is accountable for keeping all back of house areas in the kitchen sanitary. The Oasis at Death Valley is situated in a lush, spring-fed desert oasis, surrounded by the vast and arid desert of Death Valley National Park. The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs.
Requirements
- Must be able to differentiate styles of china, glassware, etc. and sort accordingly.
- Awareness of safety concerns: i.e., spills, hot items, cleaning fluids and solutions.
- Must possess or obtain a California Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire. On-site training is available.
Responsibilities
- Wash pots, pans, plates, glasses, utensils, etc.
- Stock all cleaned items in a prescribed manner and location.
- Clean kitchen equipment, floors, walls, etc.
- Keep back dock and garbage room area clean.
- All other duties as assigned.
