The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring all service and kitchen wares are clean and sanitized. This role involves interacting with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality. The position requires maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue, as well as proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens. The Dishwasher must possess in-depth knowledge of the dish machine, proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies, and general knowledge of the venue. Compliance with Department of Health and company sanitation standards is mandatory. This role also includes performing opening and closing procedures, stocking stations, maintaining and cleaning kitchen equipment, and reporting any breakage or damage immediately to management. Attendance and participation in daily pre-service meetings, training sessions, and departmental meetings are expected. The role emphasizes learning by listening, observing, and sharing knowledge, while portraying a positive and professional attitude and demonstrating knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality and its partners.
