The Dishwasher is responsible for washing and cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. They will maintain a clean, organized, and safe working station, communicate with co-workers at shift change, and assist with putting away deliveries, rotating and organizing. The role also involves loading, running, and unloading the dish machine, keeping it clean, and reporting any functional or mechanical problems to the supervisor. The Dishwasher must comply with food service policies and procedures, wash and store all tableware and kitchenware, and assist in food prep assignments when applicable. They should be willing and able to help co-workers as situations arise, maintain adequate levels of clean tableware, break down boxes and dispose of them, and help in bussing tables when necessary. Additionally, the role requires maintaining hand washing, taking out the trash, and performing other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
