Join the Dining Services team at Santa Marta, where you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our residents. As a Dishwasher, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen by washing dishes and cookware, keeping work areas sanitized, and supporting the kitchen team as needed. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A willingness to serve and interact respectfully with older adults in a senior living community.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, stoop, lift, and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a hot, humid kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand.
• Put away clean dishes, cookware, and supplies in designated storage areas.
• Keep serving stations, refrigerators, and kitchen areas stocked and organized.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workspaces, and trash receptacles.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation and plating as needed.
• Work alongside the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Attend required training and perform other duties as assigned.
