About The Position

Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a part-time Dishwasher. This role anticipates guest needs and exceeds guest service expectations while contributing to a fun and exciting atmosphere. Dishwashers assist guests in various areas as needed and follow the company’s standards for quality and guest satisfaction. Family entertainment center experience is welcome but not required. The position works in a high-energy family entertainment center environment, supporting restaurant and kitchen operations by cleaning and stocking dishware and maintaining clean work and storage areas. The role also involves guest interaction, teamwork across departments, safety and sanitation practices, and assigned opening, running, and closing duties. Andretti offers support for professional development and training and promotes from entry-level positions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Desire and ability to be pleasant, upbeat, and sociable throughout the workday.
Ability to work a varied schedule that includes days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Ability to walk or stand for extended periods.
Ability to regularly and continuously lift up to 15 pounds.
Ability to perform tasks involving organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and occasional stocking of items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to communicate quickly and accurately.
Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
Ability to understand, follow, and maintain safety standards at all times.

Responsibilities

Clean dishware and glassware used in restaurant and kitchen operations.
Work with bussers and cooks to stock dishware and keep dish areas clean.
Ensure clean plates, silverware, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils are available.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
Maintain detailed cleaning standards, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning dish racks and storage areas.
Take out trash, replace trash bags, and wash trash cans.
Observe, instruct, and monitor guests for safety and adherence to guidelines.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and coworkers.
Work as a team player to meet guest needs and contribute to other departments’ efforts.
Attend required department and company meetings and training sessions.
Maintain a clean work area in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Know facility emergency procedures.
Perform assigned opening, running, and closing department duties.
Follow uniform guidelines.
Display excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Show eagerness to learn new skills.
