About The Position

BERKELEY HALL CLUB, INC. is seeking a Full-Time Dishwasher for their Culinary Department. This role serves as a dishwasher and prep cook for the club's food and beverage facilities, ensuring all programs and services align with the club's goals and objectives. The Berkeley Hall Club is a private golf community located in Bluffton, South Carolina, known for its active lifestyle, world-class golf courses, and stunning clubhouse.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
Previous kitchen experience highly desirable.
Must be able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice.
Position involves kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
Must be able to transport oneself throughout the property.
Must have a valid state driver’s license.
Must have sufficient mathematical skills to accommodate cashier functions.

Responsibilities

Check in with the Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef to receive any special duties for the day.
Inspects the dishwasher for any obstructions, proper assembly or mechanical difficulties, and prepares for operation.
Breakdown the machine after every two hours of use and when shift is over.
Maintain high sanitation standards in and on all areas that come in contact with food.
Completes a prep list provided by the Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef on a daily basis.
Rotates all in-house prepared items.
Other duties as assigned.
