About The Position

The Dishwasher helps ensure an extraordinary dining experience by keeping dishes, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment clean and sanitized. The role involves safely operating commercial dishwashing equipment, washing items by hand when needed, maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area, and disposing of waste. The Dishwasher follows safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures and works with kitchen staff to support an efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers.
• Sort and stack clean dishes properly and store them in designated areas.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly and dispose of waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Follow food handling and storage guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and support food safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
