Dishwasher (FT or PT)
About The Position
The Dishwasher at La Posada helps create an exceptional dining experience by ensuring dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized and ready for use in a timely manner. The role may be full-time (over 30 hours per week) or part-time (under 30 hours per week). Shifts are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 3:00 PM–8:30 PM, with Wednesday and Saturday listed as days off. The position includes cleaning and maintaining kitchen, storeroom, and other designated areas, and supporting food-service operations by handling carts and supplies and assisting servers with dish clearing. Employment offers are subject to passing a drug screen, job-specific physical, TB test, and background check; the company covers the cost of these pre-employment requirements.
Requirements
- Six months of experience in a similar field.
- Be a great team player.
- Bring a smile to work every day.
- A current Food Handler’s Certificate is preferred, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities
- Load or unload food-service carts.
- Pick up and/or deliver supplies and food.
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other items.
- Assist servers with dish clearing in the dining room.
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in the kitchen, storeroom, and other designated areas.
- Sweep and mop the kitchen floor, walk-ins, and other designated areas as needed.
