About The Position

As a Dishwasher General Utility, you will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition while assisting with food preparation procedures. Duties include setting up, using, and maintaining the mechanical dishwasher for the duration of the shift; keeping the food line stocked with clean plates; and completing cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift, including cleaning the work area and restrooms. Actual work hours, whether full-time or part-time, will be based on work shift availability and management discretion.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to move from place to place in the kitchen when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up, use, and maintain the mechanical dishwasher for the duration of the shift.
• Keep the food line stocked with clean plates.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
• Assist with food preparation procedures.
