About The Position

As a Dishwasher General Utility, you will maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition while assisting with food preparation. The role includes operating and maintaining the mechanical dishwasher, keeping the food line stocked with clean plates, and performing cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift, including cleaning the work area and restrooms. Actual hours, whether full-time or part-time, depend on shift availability and management discretion.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 25–50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to move from place to place in the kitchen when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up, use, and maintain the mechanical dishwasher for the duration of the shift.
• Keep the food line stocked with clean plates.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plate ware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.
• Assist with food preparation procedures.
• Perform end-of-shift cleaning and sanitation tasks, including cleaning the work area and restrooms.
