About The Position

The Dishwasher ensures that dishes and silverware are clean and ready to support an extraordinary dining experience. The role safely operates commercial dishwashing equipment, washes pots and pans, performs general kitchen cleanup, and disposes of waste. The Dishwasher also maintains a clean, organized dishwashing area and supports an efficient kitchen workflow while following safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers.
• Sort and stack clean dishes properly and store them in designated areas.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Follow food-handling and storage guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Perform general kitchen cleanup and dispose of waste.
