About The Position

The Event Dishwasher at Fireside Catering is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen by cleaning and washing dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans. The Event Dishwasher ensures that all kitchen equipment is sanitized, stored properly and ready for use by other event staff. The event dishwasher is expected to fully support the event team and may help with many other tasks as directed by the shift supervisor. Part time hours available in a fun, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be 16 years old to apply
Available weekend mornings, 6am start
Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
Hand-wash items that cannot be cleaned by the machine
Dry and stack dishes and other items in appropriate storage areas
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly sanitized, stored and ready for use by other kitchen staff
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor and take out the trash as needed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
