About The Position

Cypress Street Pint & Plate is looking for Dishwashers to join their team in Midtown Atlanta. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced, busy team environment and contribute to a fun and safe atmosphere that delivers a phenomenal dining experience. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the dishwasher is working properly and that cleaning and sanitizing solutions are dispensing correctly.
  • Promptly report any technical/performance issues.
  • Load and unload dishwashing machines
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand when necessary. Ensure all dishes are cleaned and sanitized properly.
  • Sort and organize all cleaned items in designated areas.
  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours
  • Remove garbage regularly and maintain restrooms when requested by management.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen/dish area by sanitizing the kitchen area, including the floor and tabletop surfaces, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by Opening and/or closing the kitchen properly and following the checklist for kitchen stations.
  • Assists others in opening and/or closing the kitchen as needed.
  • Helps maintain the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen, prep, walk-ins, restrooms, dish areas, and outside areas through the daily/weekly/monthly cleaning lists.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or manager-on-duty.
