About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a full-time Dishwasher for the Lakeside location at Barton Creek Country Club in Spicewood, Texas. The role supports kitchen and food-service operations by cleaning and maintaining dishes, cookware, utensils, kitchen work areas, and restaurant equipment. The dishwasher sorts, washes, polishes, stores, and rotates service ware and stock, and helps ensure cooks and food-service staff have the equipment they need. The position requires maintaining cleanliness, safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene while contributing to a courteous, friendly, and professional work environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have a valid Food Handlers License.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area at all times.
Strong customer-service orientation and skills.
Excellent safety and sanitation skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware for proper processing through dish or pot machines.
Wash ware and return it to designated storage areas; keep the dish machine clean and filled with water according to standards.
De-tarnish and polish silver.
Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and completely.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware for cooks, banquet servers, and food servers.
Maintain kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Sweep and mop floors.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Separate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
Steam-clean or hose out garbage cans.
Sort cardboard boxes and put them through the baling machine.
Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand.
Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
Run glasses through the dish machine twice.
Understand OSHA regulations.
Put away and rotate stock.
Put away clean utensils and stock in designated areas.
Maintain personal hygiene.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
