About The Position

The Dishwasher position is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. This includes operating and maintaining the dish machine, washing dishes, glasses, pots, and pans, and ensuring the kitchen is neat and clean at all times. The role also involves emptying trash, following safety protocols, and assisting with other kitchen duties as needed, including plating for banquet events.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans only in the pot washer's area.
• Ensure all cleaning required to keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times, including sweeping up broken glass/dishes and mopping up any spills.
• Empty full and heavy trash cans, ensuring they are sprayed and sanitized after each use and placing new trash bags in the container after each cleaning.
• Follow all MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) protocols, as well as Safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties in other areas of the Kitchen as assigned, including assisting with plating banquet events when needed.
