About The Position

The Dishwasher helps deliver an extraordinary dining experience by ensuring dishes, silverware, and kitchen equipment are clean, sanitized, and properly stored. The role includes safely operating commercial dishwashing equipment, washing items by hand as needed, maintaining an orderly dishwashing area, and disposing of waste. The Dishwasher follows food safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures and works with kitchen staff to support an efficient workflow.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen equipment by hand or using dishwashers.
• Sort and stack clean dishes properly and store them in designated areas.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Follow food handling and storage guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
