About The Position

Clean dishes, kitchen areas, food preparation equipment, and utensils. Work may include washing dishes by hand or using dishwashers, cleaning or preparing food, maintaining clean and orderly kitchen work areas, and handling supplies and trash. Other related duties may be assigned. This role requires prolonged periods of standing, the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at a time, and availability to work nights and weekends. Graziano’s Group is a drug-free workplace; candidates may be required to successfully complete drug screening before starting employment and/or during employment as permitted by law.

Requirements

Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines throughout the kitchen and restaurant.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using dishwashers.
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
Stock food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
Sweep or scrub floors.
Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas by hand or using hand trucks.
Receive and store supplies.
Prepare and package individual place settings.
Load or unload trucks delivering or picking up food or supplies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
