About The Position

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken is hiring Dishwashers / Utility / Bussers to help keep the restaurant clean, organized, and operating smoothly during shifts. Utility team members handle deliveries and inventory, dishwashing and pans, maintenance, general cleanliness, and bussing and turning over tables. The team works together to maintain the property and facility, including during busy periods.

The Porter position focuses on receiving deliveries, checking invoices for accuracy and completion, rotating products, and stocking the restaurant. Porters regularly move or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds and may operate a pallet jack and/or keg lift after training. The role helps ensure the restaurant has the supplies needed to serve guests.

Requirements

• Experienced and kind; ready to join a team.
• Strong organizational skills for the Porter position.
• Ability to move and lift items weighing 50 pounds regularly for the Porter position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant property and facility during shifts.
• Handle dishwashing and pans, maintenance, and general cleanliness.
• Bus and turn over tables.
• Assist with deliveries and inventory.
• For Porter duties: receive deliveries, check invoices for completion and accuracy, rotate products properly, and stock the restaurant.
• Move and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Operate a pallet jack and/or keg lift after training, if needed.
