About The Position

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken is hiring Dishwashers / Utility / Bussers to help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and facility during shifts. Utility team members support restaurant operations through deliveries and inventory, dishwashing and pan cleaning, maintenance, general cleanliness, bussing, and turning over tables. They work together to keep the restaurant clean and organized, including during busy periods.

The Porter role focuses on receiving deliveries, checking invoices for completeness and accuracy, rotating products, and stocking the restaurant. Porters help ensure the restaurant has the supplies it needs to serve guests. The role regularly involves moving and lifting items weighing 50 pounds, and may involve operating a pallet jack and/or keg lift after training.

Requirements

• Be experienced and kind.
• Have strong organizational skills for the Porter position.
• Be able to regularly move and lift items weighing 50 pounds for the Porter position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant property and facility during shifts.
• Handle deliveries and inventory.
• Wash dishes and pans.
• Perform maintenance and general cleaning.
• Bus and turn over tables.
• Receive deliveries, check invoices for completion and accuracy, rotate products, and stock the restaurant (Porter duties).
