About The Position

Dishwashers/Prep cooks are expected to run and maintain the dishwashing area, return all washed items to their places, and assist with prep work for meals. Dishwashers will also be asked to bus tables during busy periods.

Requirements

  • 1 year work experience desired
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to handle stressful situations

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to drive a boat a plus
  • Previous hospitality experience a plus
  • Food safety certification a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ensure everything brought to the dishwashing area is cleaned and put away
  • Maintaining a pristine kitchen and dishwashing area through implemented cleaning regiment
  • Tables are bussed during busy periods
  • Care and maintenance of all kitchen equipment
  • Reports directly to the Executive Chef and Events Chef
  • Responsible for food safety, handling procedures and cleanliness.
  • Assist in successful execution of all catering events, from 15 to 175 people
