About The Position

Cleans and maintains all areas of the Foodservice Department according to safety, sanitation and infection control standards. The role involves regularly collecting and disposing of food-related and recyclable waste/trash, performing ware washing duties, and potentially transporting or delivering meal trays. The position requires compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and standards for kitchen safety and sanitation, as well as cleaning and maintaining carts and kitchen equipment.

Requirements

• No Degree or any other education earned (Required)
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly collects and disposes of all food related and recyclable waste/trash.
• Performs ware washing duties per safety guidelines, including dish machine and three compartment pot sink.
• May transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas.
• Complies with internal policies and procedures, as well as, regulatory requirements/standards regarding kitchen safety and sanitation.
• Cleans and maintains carts and kitchen equipment, using proper techniques and cleaning solutions.
