About The Position

The Dishwasher - Porter cleans and maintains all areas of the Foodservice Department according to safety, sanitation, and infection-control standards. The role requires the ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. No prior work experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Regularly collect and dispose of food-related and recyclable waste and trash.
• Perform warewashing duties according to safety guidelines, including use of the dishmachine and three-compartment pot sink.
• Clean and maintain carts and kitchen equipment using proper techniques and cleaning solutions.
• Comply with internal policies and procedures and with regulatory requirements and standards for kitchen safety and sanitation.
• May transport carts, deliver meal trays, or pick up meal trays from assigned areas.
