About The Position

The Environmental Services Technician creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility. The role cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas, maintains supplies and linens, and ensures appropriate sanitation of medical equipment. The position requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Maintain a consistent floor care program according to outlined policies and procedures, as needed.
• Keep carts and equipment clean and in working condition, and store them in the appropriate area after the shift.
• Replenish supplies and/or linen in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
• Clean patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Ensure proper sanitation of medical equipment as required.
• Perform other environmental services duties as needed.
