About The Position

Allegro Hyde Park is hiring a Full-Time Dishwasher / Kitchen Assistant to join our dining team in one of Tampa's most vibrant senior living communities. This role involves washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, supporting the culinary team with basic food prep, and restocking supplies. The primary responsibility is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties. The community is a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
Must have an awareness of safety practices
Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening
Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Prior back-of-house or kitchen experience
Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment throughout every shift
Support the culinary team with basic food prep and kitchen tasks as needed
Restock dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies throughout the shift
Be a dependable, team-first presence in a busy, well-run kitchen
Set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties
Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment
Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen
Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service
