About The Position

Nothing Bundt Cakes Brentwood is hiring a part-time Dishwasher and Bakery Assistant. This role involves washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness of the bakery, and assisting the Baker and Froster with daily tasks. The position offers flexible scheduling, with shifts typically in the morning or midday, Monday through Saturday. Requirements

• Ability to understand written and oral directions
• Ability to interpret instructional documents such as operating procedures and health and safety rules
• Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds)
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to evaluate processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards
• Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards
• Diligence, organization, and self-motivation
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Dishwasher
• Previous experience in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment

Responsibilities

• Washing all dishes
• Keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
• Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks
• Assisting other departments as needed
• Cleaning refrigerators
• Folding boxes
• Emptying trash and taking to dumpster
