About The Position

Nothing Bundt Cakes Murfreesboro is hiring a part time Dishwasher and Bakery Assistant! This role offers perfect hours for a balanced work schedule, with the bakery closed on Sundays and major holidays. Perks include employee discounts on Bundt Cakes and retail, a casual uniform, and a fun and joyful environment. Part-time dishwashers will be scheduled for 15-25 hours per week, Monday-Saturday. Shift times may vary but typically fall within morning (8:30 am-3 pm) or midday (10 am-4 pm or 11 am-5 pm) hours. Hours and days are flexible. The pay range is based on experience.

Requirements

Good physical stamina, as you will be active and on your feet several hours at a time.
Able to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents such as operating procedures and health and safety rules, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavyweight (as much as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
Can evaluate processes, information, and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
Diligent, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a Dishwasher or in another operational support role at a bakery, restaurant or foodservice environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Washing all dishes
Keeping all walls, floors, shelves and surfaces clean
Assisting Baker and Froster with daily tasks and assisting other departments as needed
Cleaning refrigerators
Folding boxes
Emptying trash and taking to dumpster
Other general cleaning
