About The Position

This is an entry-level position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, specifically focusing on dishwashing duties. The role involves cleaning dishes, maintaining the dish machine, managing trash, and assisting in various kitchen and restaurant tasks as needed. The position requires a sense of urgency, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Cleans soiled dishes and small wares.
Returns clean and sanitized dishes to proper locations.
Maintains dish machine, ensuring it is operating correctly and reporting any defects immediately.
Cleans and polishes the dish machine thoroughly on a regular basis.
Removes trash from the kitchen and places it in the dumpster.
Keeps the dish area clean and organized.
Assists in the kitchen where needed.
Assists in other areas of the restaurant when needed.
Completes opening and/or closing checklists.
Performs other duties as assigned by Company Management.
