About The Position

At Regions, the Incentive Analyst helps to administer corporate line of business incentive plans. This position develops and provides reporting from incentive applications. The role involves conducting analysis required to recommend plan design changes and to help with sales performance, developing models to determine incentive plan payouts, and interacting with various levels of management concerning incentive plan design, payouts, and sales performance. The analyst may also work as a liaison with technology/vendors and end users to address user issues, audit and validate results between the systems of record and end results as needed, and be responsible for ad hoc analysis. This position may lead a team of associates and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). The role requires maintaining specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise, interpreting internal or external issues to recommend solutions/best practices, solving complex problems, and taking a broad perspective to identify solutions. The analyst works independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations. This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of related experience OR High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years of incentive experience
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to learn software/business intelligence tools
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented, with the ability to multitask
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills and a strong working knowledge of Access and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Banking experience
  • Experience with Systems, Applications, & Products in Data Processing (SAP) Commissions software
  • Database reporting with tools such as Crystal Reports and Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Prior credit experience preferred for the scorecard auditing portion of this position
