Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work in extreme temperatures.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Must be able to work on-call rotation.
  • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and safety protocols.
  • Must be able to document job site conditions, moisture readings, and progress through daily photos and notes.
  • Must be able to maintain, clean, and properly store company equipment and vehicles.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in disaster restoration or a related field.
  • IICRC certification.
  • Knowledge of water, fire, and mold damage mitigation techniques.
  • Experience with moisture mapping and drying equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform water pumping and extraction at residential and commercial job sites
  • Conduct mold remediation following industry safety protocols
  • Remove and dispose of damaged building materials
  • Determine water category and class; perform moisture mapping using industry equipment
  • Clean up after fire damage, including smoke and soot removal
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers) to industry drying standards
  • Document job site conditions, moisture readings, and progress through daily photos and notes
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, coworkers, and project managers
  • Maintain, clean, and properly store company equipment and vehicles
  • Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed for emergency response
