Technology Trainee Disaster Restoration
About The Position
The restoration industry is changing daily. Do you want to be in the forefront of this movement and get paid to learn cutting edge technology? Do you have a great attitude and want to be a hero? We help people who have recently suffered damage to their homes because of floods, fire, mold, etc, and we use the newest and best technology and software to achieve state of the art results. We need reliable, motivated, and enthusiastic self starters to join our ServiceMaster team in Hamden/New Haven.
Requirements
- Must have some aptitude for technology and should be proficient with a cell phone
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be available for emergency work after hours and weekends one week per month
- Can lift 50 pounds
- Have a great attitude and want to help people
Nice To Haves
- Some experience in the restoration industry
- Willingness to learn
Responsibilities
- Learn science based professional fire, water, and mold remediation skills
- Learn how to use technology to handle disaster restoration projects from beginning to end
- Learn how to use the complete suite of ServiceMaster's cell phone based restoration software
- Learn how to help document daily progress of our projects
- Learn how to communicate clearly with customers and other crew members
