About The Position

As an Entry-Level Restoration Technician, you will learn how to perform cleaning, demolition, equipment setup, and property cleanup following water, fire, smoke, storm, freeze, mold, and other property damage. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position that is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop skilled-trade experience and build a career in the restoration industry. We are looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, work well with a team, and take pride in doing quality work.

Requirements

  • No previous restoration experience required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
  • Basic smartphone, computer, and app skills.
  • Dependable, hardworking, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position.
  • High school diploma/GED not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with water extraction, drying, cleaning, smoke cleaning, odor control, and general restoration.
  • Assist with mold remediation/abatement and sewage or black-water cleanup.
  • Assist with hoarding and specialty cleaning projects.
  • Learn and follow proper safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Assist with removal of damaged drywall, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, appliances, and other materials.
  • Perform debris removal and jobsite cleanup.
  • Assist with packing, moving, cleaning, and organizing customer contents.
  • Protect unaffected areas and customer belongings during restoration work.
  • Load, unload, transport, and set up restoration equipment and materials.
  • Learn to operate air movers, dehumidifiers, extractors, air scrubbers, and other equipment.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsites.
  • Lift and move equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, supervisors, and coworkers.
  • Treat customers' homes and belongings with care.
  • Take photographs and document job progress using company apps.
  • Follow instructions and communicate jobsite conditions to supervisors.
