About The Position
SERVPRO Team Carpenter is hiring dependable technicians for its expanding Fire & Water Restoration Division. The role helps residential and commercial property owners recover from fire and water losses by performing restoration and mitigation services. The company offers consistent, year-round employment opportunities, paid training, opportunities to earn IICRC certifications, and potential career advancement to Lead Technician, Crew Chief, Project Manager, or Estimator. The position involves physically demanding work in wet, dirty, and confined environments, and requires reliable attendance, professionalism, and attention to quality. Each SERVPRO franchise is independently owned and operated, and franchise employees are hired, employed, and supervised by the individual franchise.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs.
- Comfort working on ladders and in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work in wet, dirty, and physically demanding environments.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in water mitigation, fire restoration, or related construction work.
- Familiarity with restoration equipment, demolition, and drying procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.
- Professional communication and attention to detail.
- IICRC certifications are a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Respond to residential and commercial fire and water losses.
- Set up drying equipment, containment, and moisture control systems.
- Perform water extraction, demolition, and removal of damaged materials.
- Work in attics, crawlspaces, and other confined environments.
- Follow established safety procedures and IICRC industry standards.
- Document job progress through photos, notes, and daily updates.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
- Work alongside experienced technicians, crew chiefs, and project managers.
