About The Position

This position involves operating basic hand tools and performing detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will first verify that the BOM tag matches the provided unit. Then, they will begin the disassembly process by removing external components such as bolts and seals. Following this, the oil pan will be removed to access internal parts. The next steps include removing the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs. Finally, associates will clean parts with solvent, place them in baskets, and send them through a washer.

Requirements

Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and move materials up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand or walk for an entire shift (approximately 8-10 hours).
Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, and Hammers.
Must be able to stand continuously.
Walking occasionally.
Never sitting.
Stooping (forward leaning) occasionally.
Reaching/Working Overhead occasionally.

Responsibilities

Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
Remove bolts, seals, and other external components from the unit.
Remove the oil pan to access internal parts.
Remove internal components such as the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs.
Clean parts using solvent.
Place cleaned parts in baskets and send them through a washer.
