About The Position

This position involves operating basic hand tools and performing detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the tag of the Bill of Materials (BOM) matches the unit (core) provided. The disassembly process includes removing bolts, seals, the oil pan, and internal components such as the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs. Following disassembly, parts are cleaned using solvent, placed in baskets, and sent through a washer.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approx. 8-10 hours).
• Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.
• Continuously stand.
• Occasionally walk.
• Never sit.
• Occasionally stoop (forward leaning).
• Occasionally reach/work overhead.

Responsibilities

• Verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided.
• Remove bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit.
• Remove the oil pan of the unit.
• Remove internal parts such as the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, and clutch packs.
• Clean parts using solvent.
• Place parts in baskets and send through a washer.
