About The Position

Te Roopu Taurima is New Zealand's largest kaupapa Māori disability support provider. They support people with intellectual and physical disabilities to live great lives, build connections, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their communities. They are looking for experienced Lifestyle Coaches to join their South Auckland team. In this role, you will work alongside the people they support, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, achieve personal goals, and live the life they choose. As a Lifestyle Coach, you will provide practical support, encouragement and guidance in everyday life. No two days are the same.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years' experience in New Zealand supporting people with disabilities or in a related community-based support role
  • Experience working independently and supporting people with complex needs
  • A Level 3 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or equivalent qualification or experience)
  • A full New Zealand driver's licence
  • Strong communication skills and a person-centred approach
  • Availability to work rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays

  • Experience in areas such as behaviour support, mental health, youth work, social services, or trauma-informed care
